Take Lee Road a couple kms (you will pass the trailhead for Pender Hill on your right as you go) and then left onto Milne Road. Park at the end before it becomes dirt. Go right up Spence Lane to the end where you will come to a set of 185 man-made steps down(and that means up afterwards), turn left and cross the foot bridge, walk towards the ocean (the trail also goes left to a little dock on Sakinaw Lake.) On the right there is a trail up the rocky bluff to a viewpoint which gives you more than 180 degree view of Nelson Island. The photo shows a view looking somewhat southwest. (Approx. 25 minutes each way and maybe 3kms there and back.)

by: Brook Family

We were up there a cou Old weeks ago and the stairs have been torn out. We were really sad to see it. Anyone know what happened?
